- Fittings made of PE 100 material and rated to PN 16.
- Fittings from 50mm to 315mm.
Electrofusion Jointing Method
Inspect and Clean
Inspect surfaces to be fused. Ensure that there is no dirt on both surfaces; the outer surface of the pipe and the inside diameter of the fittings should be free of dust and dirt.
Measure Socket Length
Measure the socket length and mark this length on the outside diameter of the pipe
Prepare The Pipe Surface
Push the pipe into the fitting socket up to the mark on the pipe. Ensure that the materials to be fused are compatible, clean and dry. Scrape the surface from the marked point to the end of the pipe and remove 0.2mm of the pipe surface.
Connect and Fuse
Join the leads of the control box to the terminal pins of the fittings. Ensure that the machine settings are correct. Start the machine and do not move the pipes and fittings until the displayed time reaches zero. Allow the joint to cool before movement.
