Chezy Mechanical Stop Valve

Chezy Mechanical Stop Valves are designed for all types of plumbing systems using threaded connections. They are available in BSP 1/2″, 3/4″, and 1″ sizes.

Chezy Mechanical Stop Valves are extremely robust with high thread strength. Tests have shown that our valves have the lowest head loss and the rates when highest flow compared to any other similar-sized stop valves available in the market.

Mechanical Stop Valve Installation Method

Five installation steps from the supplied catalogue.

Step 1

Wind 10 rounds of white Teflon tape on the male thread adaptor. Do not use thread or string.

Step 2

Turn the Male thread adaptor into the valve body.
Turn using hand until the adaptor is tight, use hand only.

Step 3

After tightening by using hand, use pipe wrench (custom),
make two more turns of the male thread adaptor.

Step 4

Do not use white tape on the thread of the cartridge.

Step 5

Place cartridge in body correctly. Cartridge only needs to be screwed in the body tightly by hand. Do not use pipe wrench (custom) to tighten cartridge into the body.
